Kenneth L. Weiss, of counsel to the firm, leads the firm's Transaction practice in the areas of licensing, technology contracts, intellectual property, corporate taxation, business law, tax, estate planning, and probate.

Mr. Weiss is a graduate of the University of Florida at Gainesville (B.S., 1970; J.D., 1972; LL.M., in Taxation, 1975). He is a member of The Florida Bar. He was a Florida Bar Board Certified Tax Lawyer from 1983-1993 and a Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Civil and Family Mediator. He remains an active mediator.

Mr. Weiss has been corporate counsel to Fortune 500 Companies, including Checkers Restaurants (1997-1998), Home Shopping Network (1990-1991), Anacomp, Inc. (billion dollar technology company) (1983-1990), and Florida Power/Florida Progress Companies as Tax Counsel (1981-1983).

Mr. Weiss was born in New York City on May 5, 1948. He was admitted to practice before the Florida Bar in 1973.
